Interview witnesses

As part of our investigation, our private investigators and detectives will meet with the criminal defense attorney for an initial case  conference, which is followed by a review of the discovery file.  The review of the discovery file entails reading all of the police reports and supplemental reports, lab and forensic reports, search warrant and affidavit supporting warrant, photographs of crime scene, statement of victims, witnesses, and evidence.  After the PI is familiar with the facts in the case, a timeline is established and interview of all witnesses is crucial to the strategy of rasing reasonable doubt.

Visting Crime Scene

Our Los Angeles private investigators as a procedure will vist the scene of an alleged crime to examine and validate accuracy of the information, location, and take photographs.  While at the scene, ACIS private investigators will conduct a neighborhood check to locate witnesses and obtain background information on alledged victims and prosection witnesses.  If necessary, investigators will make a sketch of the crime scene and measure distance for important issuea when distance between object is significant.
